Under Wisconsin Act 55, the Department of Administration (DOA) will be administering grants under the TEACH program for $1,500,000 annually regarding Teacher Training Grants for Educational Technology.  Beginning in Fiscal Year 2015-16, these grants shall be made available to consortia of three or more school districts for the purpose of training teachers on the use of educational technology. The following funding will be available: $7,500 for districts with fewer than 750 students; $10 per student for districts with between 750 and 1,500 students; $15,000 for districts with more than 1,500 students.  These are not additional funds to the TEACH program.  They are a reallocation of existing funds within TEACH. These TEACH grants would only be available for districts that have 13 or fewer students per square mile.
