Teacher Technology Training Grants

OVERVIEW

If you are looking for FY20 TEACH Grant Program information, please click here.

The TEACH Technology Training Grants are available to consortia of three or more eligible rural school districts or libraries for the purpose of training teachers and librarians on the use of educational technology. Grants are available for districts that have fewer than 13 students per square mile (see specific grant year) or public libraries that are located within rural territory (as defined by the U.S. Census Bureau) municipalities with a population of 20,000 or less. Note: Libraries became eligible in FY18.

Beginning in Fiscal Year 16, $1,500,000 will be available annually for the TEACH Technology Training Grants (Ch. 16.996, Wis. Stats). These are not additional funds to the TEACH Grant program. They are a reallocation of existing funds within TEACH.

See current Fiscal Year for grant awards, eligible districts and libraries, eligible infrastructure purchases, eligibility requirements, FAQs, etc.

Note: TEACH reserves the right to monitor grants to identify potential problem areas where technical assistance might be necessary. Grant monitoring is accomplished through review of reports and documentation from the grantee, desk audits, site visits, and other information made available to TEACH.
